About Shipping

FedEx is our preferred carrier, and we use FedEx Ground as our default service to minimize your shipping cost.  FedEx Ground can take from one day (in the Northeast) to one week (on the West Coast).  Rates generally are much lower than FedEx 2-day or Express-Saver.  However, if you prefer alternative shipping, please contact us, and we will try to accomodate. 

Shipping charges are billed with your invoice.  Normal charges to cover our costs of packaging as well FedEx Ground shipping are $6 plus 10 percent of the order total.  If increased cost is incurred for any alternative shipping, it will be added to your invoice. 

We use extreme care and robust packaging when preparing prints for shipment.  After thoroughly inspecting the finished items, we carefully package them with a variety of protective materials, such as archival sheets or bags, layers of corregated cardboard, foam, and bubble wrap.  Finally it is all sealed in a sturdy box. 

Please note that when framed prints are to be shipped outside our local area, we will substitute clear acrylic glazing for glass. 

We cannot be responsible for damage occurring in transit.  If your order appears to be damaged due to shipping,  please contact the carrier.
